Superior Call · Effective October 2, 2026

Superior Call is a business phone system (PBX) built and operated by Superior Plumbing & Hydronics Inc. ("Superior Call", "we", "us"). It helps businesses reach their customers, and customers reach those businesses, by phone and text message. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and the choices you have. It applies to superiorcall.io, our phone numbers, and the Superior Call apps.

Our commitment: Any personal information that we collect (as identified in the “Personal Data We Collect” section) will not be shared with third parties. Mobile numbers and text-messaging opt-in consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging, in short: we use your phone number and your messages only to communicate with you about your service. We do not sell, rent or share your phone number or your consent to receive texts with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies.

Who this applies to

  • Customers of businesses that use Superior Call: people who call, text, or are called or texted by a business on our system.
  • Businesses and their staff: organizations with a Superior Call account and the people who use it.
  • Website visitors to superiorcall.io.

When we handle calls and texts for a business, we act on that business's behalf. That business is responsible for its own relationship with you, and for having your consent to contact you.

Personal Data We Collect

  • Phone numbers and contact details: your phone number, and the name or caller ID shown for it.
  • Call information: date, time, duration, the numbers involved, and how the call ended.
  • Call recordings and transcripts: calls may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training, dispute resolution and record-keeping. Where the law requires it, you are told at the start of the call.
  • Text messages: the content of texts you send to, or receive from, a business on our system, with delivery status.
  • Service details you give us or a business: for example your address, the service you need, and appointment times.
  • Account information (businesses): names, email addresses, roles and settings of account users.
  • Technical information: device, browser and connection information used to keep calls working and the service secure.

How we use it

  • To connect, route, record and manage calls and texts between businesses and their customers.
  • To send the texts you asked for or agreed to: appointment confirmations, technician updates, quotes, and replies to your messages.
  • To answer calls with automated assistants (including AI voice agents) that book or route service requests on a business's behalf.
  • To show a business its call and message history with its customers.
  • To bill accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, keep the service secure, and meet legal obligations.

We do not use your messages or recordings to advertise to you, and we do not sell personal information.

Text messages (SMS)

  • Consent: you agree to receive texts when you give your mobile number to a business on our system to receive service updates, or when you text the business first.
  • Frequency: message frequency varies with your service, typically a few messages per appointment.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
  • Opt out: reply STOP (or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT) at any time. You will get one confirmation and no further texts unless you reply START.
  • Help: reply HELP, or use the contact form on our home page.
  • No sharing: mobile numbers and texting consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Service providers that work for us

Any personal information that we collect (as identified in the “Personal Data We Collect” section) will not be shared with third parties. To run the service, we use the service providers below. They process information only on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it, and may not use it for their own purposes:

  • Telecommunications carriers that carry calls and texts (for example Bell Canada and BulkVS).
  • Hosting, network and security providers (for example DigitalOcean and Cloudflare).
  • AI and speech providers that power automated voice agents and transcription (for example OpenAI and ElevenLabs).
  • The business you are dealing with and the business software it connects to Superior Call, such as its customer management system.
  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect safety, including emergency (911) services.

Some providers process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

How long we keep it

We keep call records, recordings, transcripts and messages for as long as the business's account needs them for its records, or as the law requires, and then delete or anonymize them. Businesses can ask us to delete their data when they close their account.

How we protect it

Access is limited to authorized people. Data is encrypted in transit, accounts are separated so one business cannot see another's data, and access is logged.

Your choices and rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and other laws that may apply, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw consent, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal limits. If your request concerns a business on our system, we will work with that business to respond. To make a request, contact us below.

Children

Superior Call is a business service and is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version, and significant changes will be posted here.
